Welcome to the butchers arms. Built in 1860, the best of the British pub, we are a proudly presented community pub in the heart of Woodsetts. in its past life the pub has been used for a range of things, the first traced use for the building was for “John Henry Wells”. He was a local butcher that worked from his home address… we believe this is where we’ve got our name.

In 2019 the “new duo” in town took over after a short period of closure and brought life back to the old butchers shop. We cater for everyone. poker nights, quiz nights, bingo, steak nights, live entertainment & so much more!
