On March the 25th 2020 the UK government closed all the hospitality industry. We took over the butchers arms on may the 14th 2020.

When we finally got the keys and all paper work was signed, sealed and delivered work began. We decorated and deep cleaned the whole venue.

We finally reopened on July the 4th 2020, what a great time we had we launched our brand-new locally sourced pub food menu which went down a storm. We had acts from all over the UK from singers, to drag queens!

On November the 2nd Boris Johnson and his advisors issued a closure notice again on all the hospitality industry. To be reviewed at the end of November.

At the end of November Boris Johnson issued a statement saying the whole of the UK would enter a tiered system. Meaning we would be closed until mid December we stayed optimistic.

December the 16th Boris announced yet again we would stay closed and this would be reviewed.

Boris then placed the whole of our borough (Rotherham, South Yorkshire) In tier 3 Meaning we as a hospitality venue couldn’t open until further notice.
